Re-Imagine It! puts middle schoolers in the role of green product inventors — combining science, drawing, and teamwork in one fast-paced 45-50 minute session. Through a product design lens, students do rapid individual and team ideation on how they might re-imagine an agricultural or consumer product to create a more people and earth-friendly version. The workshop uses design thinking principles to: 1 Introduce students to empathy-driven innovation approaches and 2. Inspire a generative mindset where they build on each other's ideas (versus judging them). There will be moments of individual and group thinking, and an opportunity for teams to share with the larger group. The energy will be upbeat & empowering :)
